Deliveries of Russian–Chinese CR929 plane may start in 2028–2029

MOSCOW, Jul 8 (PRIME) -- Delivery of Russian–Chinese CR929 plane may start in 2028–2029, Ravil Rakhimov, CEO of aircraft producer Irkut, said on Wednesday at a government meeting.

“In general, the program should be implemented taking into account the current updates so that delivery of the plane start in 2028–2029,” he said.

Russia and China planned to create a joint CR929 aircraft in 2025–2027.
